Terms and conditions of service

Scope of services

Lowveld PowerTech Solutions provides residential, commercial and emergency maintenance services, including but not limited to general repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency call-outs.

  • Solar installations and maintenance.

  • Major and minor servicing of generators.

  • Electrical fault finding and repairs.

Including:

  • Structural or engineering work.

  • Asbestos handling.

  • Work requiring specialist permits not held by the company.

Exclusions:

Unless agreed in writing, Service do not include:

Any additional work requested will be quoted separately.

Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotations are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are based on visible and known conditions at the time of inspection.

  • Hidden defects or unforeseen issues may result in revise pricing.

  • A call-out fee will be charged prior to inspection.

  • Afterhours and on holidays emergency services may be charged at a higher rate.

Emergency maiNTENANCE

Emergency services are provided on a best-effort basis and subjected availability.

Lowveld PowerTech Solutions is not liable for any delays caused by traffic, weather, access restrictions or supplier shortages.

Payment Terms

  • Payment of 70% upon quotation acceptance before work starts.

  • Outstanding payment is due upon completion.

  • Late payments are subjected to a 5% penalty fee.

  • Lowveld PowerTech Solutions reserves the right to suspend services for non-payments.

cancellation & rescheduling

  • Rescheduling may occur depending on availability.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.

  • Same-day cancellations may incure a call-out fee.

  • Delays caused by lack of access may result in additional charges.

client responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and unrestricted access to the work site.

  • Ensure water, electricity and utilities are available.

  • Remove or secure valuables and fragile items.

  • Inform the company of known hazards or defects.

Lowveld PowerTech Solutions is not responsible for delays caused by non-compliance.

damage & liability

  • Lowveld PowerTech Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing damage.

  • Liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

  • Lowveld PowerTech Solutions shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

health & safety

Lowveld PowerTech solutions complies with applicable health and safety regulations.

Work may be stopped immediately if conditions are deemed unsafe.

force majeure

Lowveld PowerTech Solutions shall not be liable for delays or failure due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather.

  • Power or water outages.

  • Supplier delays.

  • Government restrictions.

termination

Lowveld PowerTech Solutions reserves the right to terminate services immediatly for:

  • Non-payments.

  • Unsafe working conditions.

  • Abusive unlawful conduct.

clients may terminate services with written notice, subject to outstanding charges.

Confidentiality & marketing

Client information is kept confidential.

Lowveld PowerTech Solutions may use non-identifiable photos of completed work for marketing unless the client objects in writing.

dispute resolution

Disputes shall first be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to mediation or arbitration under South African law.

amendments

Lowved PowerTech Solutions reserves the right to update these terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version applies to all services.

acceptance

By requesting services, approving a quotation or making payments, the Client agrees to these Terms & Coditions.
